WHAT IS THE SMART UNIVERSAL IR REMOTE CONTROL COMPATIBLE WITH?
The remote is compatible with infrared (IR) devices, such as TVs, air conditioners, set-top boxes, fans, and DVDs. However, it does not support RF or Bluetooth-controlled devices.

WHAT SMART ASSISTANTS CAN BE USED WITH THIS DEVICE?
The Smart IR Remote supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Yandex Alice, and Siri (iOS 12.0 or later).

Note: Yandex Alice supports only air conditioners, TVs, TV boxes, and fans.

WHAT APP DO I NEED TO USE THE DEVICE?
You will need the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app to manage and control your devices. These apps enable remote control, automation, and customization features.

IS A BATTERY REQUIRED?
No, the Smart IR Remote requires a constant USB power supply. It does not have a built-in battery, and an adapter is not included in the package.

HOW EASY IS IT TO SET UP THE DEVICE?
Setup is straightforward:

  1. Plug in the USB cable to power the device.
  2. Open the app and use the auto-find feature to connect the Smart IR Remote.
    The process takes only a few minutes.

CAN I CONTROL MULTIPLE DEVICES SIMULTANEOUSLY?
Yes, the app allows you to create scenarios that control multiple devices with a single tap. You can also set automations based on time, weather, or other conditions.

DOES THE DEVICE HAVE A TIMER FUNCTION?
Yes, you can schedule appliances to turn on or off at specific times using the app's timer feature.

WHAT IF MY DEVICE IS NOT IN THE SUPPORTED BRAND LIST?
The Smart Life app includes a DIY mode, allowing you to copy functions from your original remote control if your device is not listed.
